A New Chapter for Chicago's Workforce
We are thrilled to announce that Sevy SPD has officially partnered with the Chicago Urban League to bring our award-winning Sterile Processing Technician training program directly into the heart of Chicago's South Side community. This is more than a partnership — it is a shared mission to open the door to healthcare careers for those who need it most.
Beginning February 25th, 2026, classes will be held at the brand-new Chicago Urban League Empowerment Center located at 8331 S Stewart Ave, Chicago, IL 60620. This world-class facility, rooted in the community, will serve as the launchpad for the next generation of certified Sterile Processing professionals in Illinois.
Led by nationally recognized instructor and 2023 Kevin Beville Leadership Award recipient, Professor Yves Theodule, students will receive the same rigorous, career-transforming training that has produced over 2,400 graduates — now available in-person on Chicago's South Side. Whether you are starting fresh, switching careers, or looking to build a stable, well-paying future in healthcare, this program was built for you.
